Just took a trip up to Shoreline Beverage in Huntington and they are selling Great Lakes, Jack's Abby and Lost Coast now in addition to their usual packed (especially imported) lineup. And...they have Edmund Fitzgerald on growler, right now too. They are basically selling what I'm guessing is the usual suspects, none of the "whale" type shit, but still, pretty nice to see this stuff locally. Figured it was worth a thread.

    Cheers

Thanks. Did you see Mass Rising and/or regular Framinghammer?

I didn't see Framinghammer but I got the Kiwi Rising and Saxonator in 16.9 oz bottles and 2 12oz Mass Risings. They had maybe 2 others, I don't remember which. Shoreline is a bit of a drive for me, and...I'm old.

Glad to hear about Great Lakes. Last time I had some was in Cleveland. I'll have to take a drive to Huntington. Thx for the report.

Saw that stuff at Bellport last week too. Not sure about the Lost Coast stuff. Edmund Fitzgerald is awesome.

I believe it was 13.99 for the 6-packs and 5.99 for the 16.9 bottles. I only got 2 sixers of the GL and 4 bottles of the Jack's.

I can confirm that. Grabbed some Edmund Fitz and Elliot Ness 3 weekends ago when I was there to pick up some Bell's stuff. They also had Dortmunder Gold and 1-2 other GLBC beers—I think Commodore Perry and Burning River—but not 100% sure.

 Are you saying Shoreline has/had HT?

If that's the case, I'll be camping outside shoreline for the next few months.

They had it about a month ago. Had to reserve them on Facebook and they sold for $10 a can with tax.

On the other hand, the owner there is awesome and the prices are fine. Great selection. The JA and GL stuff is reasonably priced (as seen on their FB page).

Damn. I'm assuming one of their employees was up in VT and picked up a case. Hope they get some more soon.

The guy at Shoreline told me that he was gonna have the GL and JA regularly. I asked because Shoreline is not around the corner for me.

Good to know. It is quite a hike from me as well. I will definitely check with my local store in LB, Monarch, before heading out there. The owner really cares for craft beer and has done an excellent job stocking the place with all the new arrivals to NY. Price is a little high, but its Long Beach (and NY!). If not, I plan on making several trips to Shoreline.

As far as I know GL and JA are not distributed on Long Island. Its great for us that Shoreline can get these but I wouldn't be advertising these if I was Shoreline.

Probably not. After seeing the GL stuff on the shelves in Bellport, I mentioned to Dave that I was surprised, since it was my understanding that it's not officially available in NY, at least not outside the western part of the state. He said something along the lines of having an "unofficial pipeline". I let it go at that, happy to have found it at all. It would probably be in all our best interests if this thread got deleted.:rolling_eyes:
