If one were to search "Great American Beer Festival" in Google Calendar, you would find it and be able to add it to your own calendar.

I'm clearly no expert at how this "Internets" thing works, but I was unable to simply "search" for calendars from within Google Calendar.... Might you have a link that you could share good sir? I can see how to add another calendar if I have a link...

Coming in from Chicago, and I was hoping to get some local input on breweries to hit. Last year we walked around and hit Wynkoop, Great Divide, and Denver Beer Co. This year we'll be in Denver for three days (going to GABF Friday), so I'm thinking one day to wander around by foot and one day to hit breweries via car and/or public transportation... any input is greatly appreciated. If this has already been discussed in this thread I apologize, I looked through but didn't see much that answered this question.

    Thank you

I was at Black Shirt just last Friday and rather enjoyed it. I wouldn't single out that one from RiNo to skip. the Double Black IPA was my favorite.

Don't forget First Draft also in RiNo.

I'm coming from the Chicago area as well and will be there Wed. to Sat and attending the GABF on Thursday and Friday nights sessions. First day I'm planning on hitting up Breckenridge, Declaration, Platt Park, Former Future Brewing, TRVE, Baere and Renegade all via the Light Rail and Uber/Lyft/Taxi Cab. Second day: Spangalang,Great Divide, Jagged Mountain, River North, Zephyr and then GABF THursday session. Third day: RiNo district and hit up Mockery, Black Shirt, Beryl, Epic, Ratio Beerworks, Our Mutual, First Draft and Friday GABF session and fly home Saturday morning.

Thanks, we shall see if I'm able to hit them all up. I also have the Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum, The Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on my itinerary too.

The museum of nature and science is really cool and fun- make sure you don't miss it. Great gem and mineral displays as well as lots of other fun stuff to see and do there. That rhodochrosite crystal they have there is a sight to behold!

Being a geology major, even though I never wound up with a job in that field, I'm gonna check it out for sure and if I had more time out there then I'd head for the mountains.

Your second day may need to have some tweaks. I'd skip Zephyr and Jagged Mountain and add Crooked Stave and Mockery.

I'd also add that you are leaving out 5 of the top breweries in the City. I know you are hitting a lot of those breweries because of their proximity to public transit and because they are clustered together, but not hitting Comrade, Hogshead, Station 26, Dry Dock or Copper Kettle would be a mistake. Those are some of the best breweries this city has to offer.
