Awesome! Are they selling bottles of Oil/Brain as well?

 

Just landed. Let's get this weekend started!

 

Still going strong after about an hour. Most people are only ordering 3oz pours...foolish

 

Just saying, I'd accept a mere 3 oz pour if someone saves it for me - I won't be there until tomorrow morning-ish. I'd even bring you some Darkness, and more than 3 oz!

 

Still on now. Did observe someone hiding their glass of BA Abraxas to order another glass. They were limiting it to one full pour at a time. This person poured glass 1 into glass 2, hid that glass and then ordered another pour. I hate beer.

 

Indeed they are. Or at least they were last night. There is a finite supply of those, so I dunno how many they have or how long they'll last.

Grapevine also has the majority of the same beers available in pre-packaged Crowlers for really good prices. They only have a few of the BA variants, but they seemed to have a lot of many others.

What I love about coming here for GABF, I've had a nice Two Roads IPA and am now enjoying a Crooked Stave sour, and I haven't even left union station!

So, if you planned correctly yesterday morning you could've drank Mornin Delight, KBBS, Assassin and BA Abraxas in a mere 2 hour window. Just sayin .

On another note, how was the nilla Noche for anyone who went up? Heading there in a few hours.

 

I thought It was really good. My first time having noche of any kind.

Closest approximation of VR I have personally tried.... mouthfeel wasn't quite BCBS level to me, but it was a fantastic beer. Our bartender seemed to imply they had quite a bit left too. There was a two-pour limit yesterday, FYI.

 

Damn, should have came in a day earlier.

 

I have my members session. But was thinking about getting a ticket for tonight as well. But was curious has any of you ever done the Saturday members session then got back in line and done the Saturday night as well? I don’t want to do this but was curious if any of you have.

 

Small Batch still has SOS as of this morning.

 

The Medianoches I have tasted absolutely NAIL the nose, and Rye Vanilla keeps the streak going. Agree with other post that it doesn’t have BC density. Really nice drink though. Tinge of heat, but it rounds out and drinks well with a nice touch of vanilla.

 

Any good bar events tonight? Just got in town.
