Gainsville Recomendations?

    Sorry if this has been posted before... my wife will be in Gainsville for the next week....what are the best places for craft beer in regards to bars, brewpubs, and bottle shops. She did find a Pop n Top that had a pretty good selection. Thanks!

    tipples probably has the best selection...next up is gator beverage...wards has some decent stuff but id go to tipples.

    As rac said, Tipples and Gator Beverage for bottles...Gator still had some Backwoods Bastard as of this afternoon. Tipples is nicer and better organized. AFAIK there are no brewpubs in Gainesville. Swamphead Brewing has a tasting room, worth a visit.
    The Brass Tap on Archer has 60+ taps.

    Swamphead should still have some saison du swamp with brett. This is delicious, I'd recommend it.

    Near the Pop a top (or whatever it is called) there is a bar called stubbies, and next to it there is a house of beer. Both will have pretty solid selection. Additionally there is the brass tap, and a little bit further away there is a world of beer.

    Everyone is on point with the Tipples and Gator Bev recommendations.

    I just remembered The Top! They have a pretty decent beer selection and they have really good food.
