Not closed just under going management changes. They posted on Facebook that their license is under the names of 2 people and apparently 1 person is no longer their or sold his shares making the license void. They are currently in the process of getting a new license. edit...direct quote from their FB page... "Addressing some questions. We're currently going through a change in ownership. We were silly enough to register with TABC as a general partnership, and since one person is being swapped with another, the partnership is no longer valid. We're forced to reapply for permits and will be open as soon as we can. Updates as information comes in."
As soon as they acquire their new license, yes, they will reopen but remain closed due to no TABC license at this time.
I second Beerfoot. Trust Show, a great chill and relaxed spot with a very good selection and a few house made beers.
Plan to hit nobi for late lunch and then on to Galveston. Another nice thing about brews brothers was that I could have a cigar while my wife beats me at backgammon.
