After thinking on this a bit I guess I have to say I don't seem to have a single, or even a short list of beers, as game day beers. I just do pretty much what I do on most non-game days.

The fridge is stocked with a combination of beers from my "to-be-repeated" list and from my "sounds-like-I-might-enjoy-it" list. Then I pick and choose based on what feels right.

Is there a beer you associate with your favorite team?

For me, a Green Bay Packers fan, I always link the Pack with New Glarus Fat Squirrel - an English brown ale that's robust and flavorful yet easy drinking enough to put down a few during a game.

I may mix in some of those John Riggins 4th & 1 Pilsners from Escutcheon beers a bit more often since I'm a 'Skins fan, AND it's actually a quite pleasant daily drinker. More often than not though, NFL lines up with NBS, so it's really hard telling what adventure I'm going to crack open. Fitting as a Redskins fan since we never quite know what type of "adventure" we'll be treated to from week to week. Actually, I have the same relationship with the Redskins as I do with DuClaw Brewing (which oddly enough, has a location about 10 miles from FedEx Field...), which is to say that for both organizations, I get a little excited about what they are trying to offer me (based on description) yet am disappointed about 80% of the time. So maybe I need to mix in some DuClaw with future Redskin games....

Other than that, for college ball I pull from whatever tasty IPAs I have laying around, but in an ideal world I would have stopped by The Answer for a crowler or two.

    I am non discriminate.

Anything from a Marzen to a BA Barleywine....
Anything I think the Saints could use to bring them some luck.

Lagunitas Sucks, Blind Pig, Code name Superfan, and Pliny did not help bring the Saints a W last weekend

I usually go for a pretty eclectic mix.

If I'm tailgating it's a mix of Yuengling and a lower ABV sixer as well as a couple tasters for sharing.

For tonights game we have some left overs from last weekend to share as well as a six pack of Passion Fruit Pinner.

If I'm at home, it's almost always homebrew.

If I'm at a friends, we tend to do a bottle share.

i am an NFL fan and big into fantasy football but i don't drink anything special for NFL games.

BUT as an Ohio State alum, i drink heavily for their games.

vs TTUN aka The Game it is always natty

for other games it's my regular beers although i skew towards Great Lakes. i have a ton of GLBC Oktoberfest i'm gonna be putting away on saturday. so for me, Oktoberfests and the like along with GLBC Nosferatu when i see that.

Love that beer! Tastes great and helps disprove that using Rice in brewing a beer is a "sin" or a "crime against humanity."

I like to mix it up (last sunday I had like 7 different beers  ). Last night for my Jets I had a heady topper, then wanted some "fall" beers and went with a cigar city apple pie cider, than a schlafly pumpkin. It was so nice to see the schlafly was bottle on 6/16/16, meaning it was before summer that it was made.........

i tend to drink something easy when watching football. At home on saturdays for NCAA, a nice lager, oktoberfest, SNPA or something similar. Heck even good cider in the fall is nice. When I am at the bar on Sundays, i am not ashamed to say I drink a lot of Guinness. The low abv treats me right for work monday morning.

During the Fall I usually drink home brew during football games. Usually my late summer Belgians or something dark. This year I have a patersbier (half straight, half infused with hibiscus), Pecan porter, and Black IPA ready to go in that order.

    Commercial beers?
    1) Obsidian Stout
    2) SN Pale, Tumbler, Celebration (as the season progresses)
    3) FW Union Jack

If my Saints are on, I will usually make sure to grab some Abita. Restoration Pale Ale has been the go to lately.
