Can anyone help me clone this? I can't find any information out there as far as recipe. I know it is 8.8% and 85ibus and uses 3 hops- that's all I can find.

    thanks!

No idea on the recipe but I know they use Simcoe and Cascade maybe others for aroma/ flavoring, Columbus for bittering and Chico yeast.

How do you know which hops are used, this is what I am most interested in.

I've helped out at the brewery before and I know there was a gap in production before because they couldn't order any Simcoe. I've never actually asked them for the recipe though.

I can confirm Columbus, Cascade, and Simcoe are indeed the right hops, but have no idea of the proportion.

If you want to be entirely true to the original recipe, you'll need to throw in a fraction of a grain of chocolate malt: Matt was obsessing so much over his first solo recipe at NEBCO that Rob decided to have some fun with him by throwing a speck of the wrong malt into the mash tun. Brewery lore now has it that that one grain was responsible for it all...

    Good luck!

I know they've dry-hopped with Citra in some batches over the last couple years. Not sure if this is currently true.
