Gandhi-bot in Mass

Little south of Boston, but Luke's Liquor in Rockland had 3+ cases as of two days ago.

 

Yeah I saw it at Luke's last night. Tons of it there. I believe it was packaged in Late March. Anyone know how this one holds up ? It should also be noted that it is unrefrigerated.

 

Julio's just got some either yesterday or today. By the time I left after spotting it, 3/4 was headed to the register.

 

I bought a 4 pack from Luke's a few days ago and was non-plussed

 

So it was good or bad?

 

I got some at Wines n More in Wareham (way south of Boston). One can seemed to be a bit off but the rest were great!

 

I too was nonplussed by his use of nonplussed, but would guess from the frowny face that it was less than stellar with several non-refrigerated months on it. No surprise there.

Gandhi-Bot tends to become a little sweet and spicy after a couple months, especially if it isn't kept cool. I've had delicious ones up to 4 months or so, though, as long as they were kept constantly refrigerated.

 

I was expecting greatness, given the hype, but was surprisingly disappointed. Could be age & lack of refrigeration... or I don't care for it.

 

I try to approach beer like music. Know enough to find new stuff that might hold interest but ignore most fan boys as overhyping is just what they do.

 

still a case and a half there that I saw today...

 

still at least 4-5 4 packs at wines and more in wareham, MA as of 2 PM yesterday.
