Gandhi Bot Spotted in CT

Was in Bev Max in Stamford yesterday, they has cases of it stacked on the floor

 

Just picked up 6 4pks at Harvey's in Bishop's Corner West Hartford. They have a few more.

 

Manchester Wine & Liquor just got a new shipment as well. Good to see the Bot back in Hartford county.

 

NEBCO is alternating one month it will hit New Haven/Southern CT then the next month it will hit HFD county/northern CT

 

It makes me sad. Julio's sez I won't see any for several months. Of course, I can always cross the border and take a peek.

 

That is indeed how they've been doing it for a while now, but there won't be any new batches over the summer. The last fresh Bot left the brewery a couple weeks ago, and it'll probably be September or so before they brew any more. Get it while you can!

 

I'm patiently waiting for the Citra IPA....

 

As am I, although I'm even more excited about the Nelson Sauvin DIPA...

 

I'm not going to act like I knew about the Nelson but I'm extremely excited they're doing it! Any idea when it will be ready?

 

No precise date yet; definitely after the Citra IPA, though. There's also a new Barleywine recipe in the works for this fall, with plans to put some of it barrels, so...yeah.

Just grabbed two four packs. Unless they have more in the back, there is only one flat left. They also had 2 cases of 668 and some Friar's Quad in stock.

Sounds awesome! Do you know if the Nelson and the Citra will be seeing bottles/cans or is it growler only?

 

Growlers at the brewery and limited draught distribution for both, I believe: similar to things like Gold Stock, Galaxy, and Scrumtrulescent Saison.

 

So anyone want to trade some NEBCO for some Jack's Abby? I'm really not far from the aforementioned border but the pup wrenched my knee pretty bad this morning. Given that I'm disabled to begin with, that makes me need to not drive excessively.

 

So from the sound of it, GB is somewhat scarce/outdated atm. That sucks since I'm heading up to NEBCO and was hoping to find some nearby. Anyone know if there's any around? I'll be driving up 95 from the Bronx if anyone knows of a place nearby.

There is a good chance that the brewery will have some on tap. In the Hartford area we just got a shipment dated may 24.. if you can't get towards that area Total wine in Milford is right off 95 exit 38 south and has a ton late April date. If you can make it come see me exit 21 off 91 willowbrook spirit. I have the may 24 cans.

I was at the Brewery a week and a half ago, got a growler of Gandhi from the bright tank and they were canning some fresh. There were a Bunch of pallets stacked already so fresh stuff should be around. Galaxy was awesome. I was told by someone at the brewery that the Citra would probably be out in June or July.

 

I'm kicking my self for not grabbing a growler of Galaxy when I was last there. The one cup I had of it was not enough!
