Any one know if the 18 packs of vintage 'gansett is still around somewhere in central or eastern CT? I'm going out to the cape this weekend and feel the need to reenact some key moments from the movies Jaws.

Can't help ya but I know the 18 packs are brewed at Latrobe and in my opinion are nowhere near as good as the lager made in Rochester. To me the PA cans are nasty tasting.

Agreed the taste is completely different now that it is brewed in Pennsylvania.

I know they split production between PA and NY and still brew the lager and seasonals at Rochester but I see the PA cans in stores alot too. I've informed the folks at Narragansett multiple times about the poor quality of the lager made in PA and they say its the water and yeast that they use there. I've been told that they're working on fixing the problem with the recipe made in PA.
