Is the event indoor or outdoor?
This is an outdoor event. The event will take place rain or shine.

Nothing at the event looks very appealing.

I already booked my stay in Philly because it is Philly Beer Week. If you have to choose between the two, I would think PBW will have more of what you are looking to try.

Seems really weird to have something like a beer festival there. I've been to concerts there where they pulled the rug out of the performer when it was closing time, they seem a real stickler for their rules and regualtions, no tailgating, no beach balls at Beach Boys concerts, etc.
Besides being right on the GS Parkway, with no place to crash (pun NOT intended). I sure hope you plan on bringing a designated driver!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to take the train to aberdeen. They have shuttle buses to the train station that run all day. I think they also have buses to a few differnt local hotels if you need.
