I have a family memeber in Gardena for a couple weeks. Any place brewery or shop to pick up a fresh 4 pack of local hoppy cans. I am aware of Monkish. But don't wanna ask my mule to stand in line or log on for a ticket.
Unsure if OP is familiar with the area, but MT refers to Modern Times (from San Diego). Their beers are some of the most consistently excellent beers you can buy. They don't have as much of the hype around them as some other breweries do, but if you really want to get some kind of day-of hazy thing they have that at their brewery too. City of the Sun is their currently available seasonal IPA and quite delicious. There's a Whole Foods in Torrance, probably the closest to your relative. Beachwood is also quite good, and the brewery is in Long Beach if you want it super fresh.
