Heading down to Dollywood with the fam (kids are 10 & 13) and looking for some fam friendly brewpubs that serve decent food (not from food trucks) and preferably traditional/Euro inspired beers in the PF/Gatlin area (or pubs that have a wide variety of local beer on tap). We also enjoy ice cream and donut shops so recs for those would be awesome too. We have some ideas of what else to do outside of Dollywood but open to others (which mountain coaster(s) are best for instance).

    Thanks!

I’ve been twice this spring/summer and have found the best place to pick up some beers for bringing back to your hotel room is Casual Pint in Sevierville (not the one in Pigeon Forge). Not sure where you are staying but if you stay at Dreammore the Hearth & Song has a couple of local-ish beer options - not an amazing selection but at least a couple of options.

Haven’t tried any good brewpubs to take the family yet (Yee-Haw and Smokey Mountain looked promising but didn’t get the chance to check them out on either short trip to the area).

Have tried food from Aubrey’s and Local Goat, neither are amazing but are pretty solid choices and usually have a decent tap list. Neighborhood Beer House is a newer addition to the area with a decent tap list but I did not try the food.

*Edit: I should note that both visits have been short (1 or 2 nights) with an 8 + 10 year old and combined with another trip to a horse show so have already been a little worn out.
