    All,

Visiting Gatlinburg March 15-19 and hoping to find some craft beer along the way. Anyone have any pointers or suggestions? I'll also be bringing lots of 2014 Hunahpu with me in hopes of trading. Thanks!

Depends. Are you willing to make an extra half hourish drive to knoxville? Then I'd suggest mcscrooge's for a store, suttrees for a bar, and tomato head for food (something for most everyone, including vegetarians).

Gatlinburg itself? Not much I'm aware of. Smokey mountain grill and brewery I guess.

Sounds like Gatlinburg is a bust. Oh well...gonna enjoy some good stuff (2011 DFH 120 min, 2011 CCB warmer winter winter warmer, Life and Limb 2, SN 30th anniversary barleywine, and 2014 Hunahpu) in my cabin while partially clothed in a hot tub! Headed to Asheville on Tuesday March 18th if anyone is down to hang. Cheers!

I visited Gatlinburg recently and Smoky Mountain Brewery wasn't too bad. I thought their pale ale was good, and they had good happy hour prices on the beer. The buffalo chicken pizza was pretty good too.

Assuming they are still open, we had a very good experience at the Fox and Parrot. English-style bar, very eclectic, with a decent tap list, but was an excellent tap list for Gatlinburg. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/11183/

I don't live in Chatt, but my gf's family lives there. So probably an incomplete list, but where I go:

Beverage World - Bottle shop across the border in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA - Gets a lot of distro TN doesn't

Heaven and Ale - taproom/growler fills with mostly regional taps, no kitchen, usually food trucks

Hair of the Dog - pub/dive bar

    Terminal Brewhouse - brewpub

Urban Stacks - Good burgers, solid taplist

Flying Squirrel - haven't been yet, hopefully next trip, heard good things about taps and food
