'Tis the season! Went out grocery shopping and saw Genny Bock in both bottles and cans. $4.50 for a six pack of the vintage "stubby" bottles, or $7.50 for a twelve pack of those awesome goat cans. Maybe it's because I'm from Rochester. Or maybe it's because I just like the artwork so much. But for the price, this is easily my favorite release of the season.
I see the kudos heaped on here for best budget beer. I'm not getting it though, as I got it for free as an extra and thought I paid too much......and I do like the style on occasion. The ratings here are spot on.
Loveeeee this. Had a ton of if when I was home in Rochester a couple weeks ago. Accidentally left my 12 pack to bring back to MA there :-(
We get Genny Cream down here but nothing else...hope they ship some down South, I'd love to pick some up.
Genessee Bock is by far their best beer in the Genessee line, a staple of my march madness season. There are a couple great craft bocks out there, but it seems like Genessee has beaten the market on Quality/Price on bocks. Cant say the same for other beer type categories. That said, a troegenator or something great like that straight up detroys Genny Bock....but im talking that Quality/Price ratio
I was very pleasantly surprised to find 12 packs of Genesee Bock at my local Liquor Barn here in KY. This beer brings back a lot of great memories. I'm an unabashed GCA fan but Genesee Bock is pretty darn good and has a pretty good Quality/Price ratio. I've already laid in a couple extra 12 packs for the future.
