Full disclosure: in no way am I affliated with this establishment.

Just wanted to draw attention to this great new spot in Fairfield County, CT. Located in Georgetown near Redding, CT. Popped in with the wife on Friday. Had some wings and beer. Wings were good, but over priced, $9.00 for 6....BOOOOOOOO! But the beer list, Damn. Highlights on the tap list included Lawson's Super Session #2, NEBCO Gandhi BOT & Sea Hag, Ithaca Flower Power, Stone Lucky Bastard, Jack's Abby Red Tape, Goose Island Bourdon County, and Southern Tier Warlock. Those are just highlights from Friday, the place had 28 taps I think, coulda been 26 or something. And in closing they also have PBR tall boys, awesome. BA's in fairfield county check it out.

    Good to know.

Putting a review into the Redding subsection of the BA Places site would undoubtedly be appreciated by locals.

What's old is new again. The G-town Saloon is a reincarnation of what was a great watering hole for 30 years. It wasn't a craft bar, it was a live music shit kicking place. It drew an amazingly diverse crowd from families with kids in tow to bikers to the geriatric crowd.

Nice to see the lights on again.

Wow blast from the past, had my first date/drink with my wife there over 20 years ago....back when Cannondale was down the road.

Wasn't our first date, but my wife and I went there the whole time we dated and after we were married. Our families went there before we knew each other. That goes back about the same amount of time, 25 years.

Oh, and also in the what's old is new category, Cannondale is back down that way. They moved to Wilton from Bethel.

Ditto, not on being there with my wife, but being there 20 someodd years ago. I had a friend who was living in Georgetown when I was in Stamford, it was probably 1992 ish. We'd go there a bunch. I don't remember exactly what we were drinking, but it was probably New England Atlantic Amber or something. Good to hear it's still around. Good bar.
