New Hazy IPA from Good Word Brewing in Duluth, GA. Social Media Is No Place To Raise Your Kids 6.7% ABV ( wow, that's a mouthful!). Hops: Strata, Amarillo & Cashmere. Draft only.

 

This has become a bit of a trend in Georgia lately. Long time breweries closing their original taprooms and looking for new locations. Latest is Burnt Hickory of Kennesaw. Our oldest brewery Atlanta Brewing Co is doing the same. Before 2017, we did not have on premise beer sales. Breweries had to gear for a distribution model. Now, we have on premise, so location & foot traffic has become big. Burnt Hickory was in a commerial warehouse area. Now looking for a better spot. Wish Scott Hedeen and Burnt Hickory much good luck. Hope they find a great spot!

Good Word Brewing in Duluth, GA is just killing it with Cask Ales. $5 pint of Cask Marque certified cask ales. Currently service Quantum Immortality 4% English Porter. If you find yourself in the area, stop in and ask for their daily Cask Ale.

 

Tritonia Cucumber & Lime Gose from Creature Comforts Brewing Co is back for the summer. I initially thought this would be terrible when it was introduced, but it's actually quite refreshing. Very summer.

 

Creature Comforts Brewing Co. announces partnership with University of Georgia Athletics. The Athens, GA based brewery will be the official craft beer of the UGA Athletics. Popular beers such as Tropicalia IPA, Classic City Lager and Bibo Pilsner will now be available at various UGA athletic events. The brewery will also feature co-branded items at its Athens taproom.
