    Hey ya'll;

    I am just seeking info on those breweries that have mentioned plans to can their beer in the future. Would appreciate any updates.

    Ones that I have heard of...Jekyll, Orpheus, Burnt Hickory, Creature Comforts, Eventide,...more?

    Thanks.

    Burnt Hickory is looking to be canning their year round stuff by the end of the year. I believe they are going to be using tall boy cans, maybe @Hedeen can chime in and give us an update.

    As for Creature Comforts, I would think they would be doing the draft only thing for quite a while. Their brew house is pretty full as it is, and they would more than likely need to expand before installing any caning/bottling line.

    It's been said (once I get done saying it here in the South-Atlantic forum) that a favorite canned beer chooses you, not the other way around.

    Hopefully, once a few more responses roll in regarding the status of GA breweries potentially canning, we can get ontherocks one step closer.

    At BHB, we are LOOKING at cans for some of our beers. At this stage, small canners and bottlers are relatively cheap and take up a small footprint in the brewhouse. Over the next few months I’ll have a better idea.

    Creature Comforts will be canning its beer in September. Canning line has already been ordered.
