Might be heading down to GA in the new year to visit some old friends in Senoia. Was looking around the Places section and the whole Peachtree City/Newnan..sees devoid of any real beer scene.
I am surprised as this would be prime craft beer territory up here..a quite well off and educated population etc.
Anyway i see Abide Brewing of Newnan and they seem t have a surprisingly long list of places were there beer is sold in the area..so looks like my best bet.
Is there anything that is missing in "Places" that anyone knows of?

I was recently in the area over Thanksgiving. A couple of shops in Peachtree City I would recommend: PTC World of Beverage (off Crosstown Drive) and Brandon's Package Store (off Highway 54). Also, just down the road from Brandon's is Gremlin Growlers. In addition to growlers, they have some bottles/cans in stock.

    This is my area.
Bm me and I can point you to some spots.

Abide isn't very good unless you like plain styles that aren't done real well. It's not bad but they are very new and have to stick to basics to sell, as well as the local market isn't huge on off the beaten path beers.

Avoid gremlin growlers. Weak draft. Some decent bottles but you will pay dearly for them versus the drive to other stores.

I live in the area, and your best best in Newnan is Ace Beer Growler's on the square. Decent selection, usually have Tropicalia, Athena or another Creature Comforts beer on draft or in cans. Owned by a great guy, Jason, that is all about craft beer and none of the hype and bs surrounding it. They don't get a lot of limited release stuff or breweries like Evil Twin, Prairie (they get some every once in a while), and due to being Outside The Perimeter, the distributors normally neglect these stores for the "BIG," limited releases. This is my go-to shop and I gladly give them my business.

World of Beverage in Fairburn is another good shop. The staff isn't very knowledgeable in reference to beer- which might even be an understatement, but they are extremely nice and will help any way they can. They also have a wide liquor selection, which you will not be able to find in Coweta County (Newnan) due to the archaic laws. They get a lot of limited release stuff, and sometimes it can sit on shelves due to this not being a "craft beer" store.

As for Abide, I really wish I could like them- but I'm just not a fan of their beer. They make very "safe" beers that cater to the "Taco Mac" crowd, as I like to call them. They brew beers for people that want to support local and feel like they are drinking something craft- which I guess technically it is, but it is mediocre at best.

If you want to bring any de Garde down this way, I'd be happy to trade with you, too!
