Hey everyone, so my parents will be traveling to Georgia/South Carolina next week. I've been looking through some past posts to put together a list of places/beers for them to go to. I'm looking for any advice if I missed anything important, thanks!

    Westbrook Brewing - bottles/cans
    Goose
    Anniversary
Mexican Cake - Hopefully it's released early this year haha
    IPA
    Westbrook Weisse Weisse Baby
    Fisticuffs
    Shanes Big DIPA
    One Claw

Looking for the following beers at either House of Brews or Charleston beer exchange not sure which one is better:
    Terrapin
    BrewDog
    Founders Porter
    Etc.

I gather they're visiting Charleston, but where are they headed in Georgia?

House of Brews and CBX are both awesome. You'll find what you're looking for at either spot.

That's what I assumed, but wanted to verify.

The Distillery and Crystal Beer Parlor are the traditional beer bars in Savannah, both on the edge of the historic district. You can get beer in plastic cups and walk around the historic district, so they don't have to be confined to a bar. Moon River has a really nice brewpub and beer garden down near the river. The building the brewery is in is supposedly haunted. There's a World of Beer as well, which is kind of like a Yardhouse or similar, but without food.

Best GA breweries are Orpheus and Creature Comforts, both can some of their offerings and everything in cans is worth drinking. There's a growler shop (The Beer Growler) in Savannah as well. Terrapin and Sweetwater are the biggest breweries in the state and you'll find them almost everywhere. Burnt Hickory is a BA favorite, most of their stuff will either be on tap or in bombers.

Breweries (not brewpubs) are tricky, as you can't actually buy beer at them. You can, however, buy a $10-12 souvenir glass and get about 6 half-pours (estimated 32oz) of whatever they have on tap. Laws here heavily favor distributors and penalize breweries, but that will hopefully change in the upcoming years. Brewpubs can still serve you pints and food and everything you expect (except growlers).

Coast's Boy King was recently released and worthy of a beer grab. And don't let them pass by BOTTLES on their way to The House of Brews, they have it all(but always check the born-on date, right ?) : http://shopbottles.com/

In SC, Coast and Holy City are worth exploring, along with Palmetto's Espresso Porter
