The wife and I prefer German Lagers/Ales over all other beer styles. Of course, we have been to: Bierstadt Lagerhaus Wibby Zwei Golden City (not German Centric, but typically have 1 or 2 styles) Seedstock Green Mountain (not German Centric but typically have 1 or 2 styles) What breweries am I missing?
Comrade has a few excessively lagered (10+ weeks) lagers a few times a year. Currently have a Dortmund Export and a non-traditional dry hopped Amber lager tap now
Dry Dock has won a ton of medals for German-style beers and they'll almost always have a helles, pils, or dunkel on. Bull & Bush has some of the best weizens in the area and usually at least one lager, too. On top of that, they have some German import taps that you won't find anywhere else. Prost is up and down, but when they're "on" they sometimes have stellar lagers. Tivoli has good stuff, IMO. Rockyard (Castle Rock) has really started focusing on their lager game. They won a gold medal for their pils last year. Not a brewery, but the Reinhaus is worth a visit. They aren't as authentic as they used to be, but they do still have some good German taps.
