Hello, I will be in Amsterdam this Summer for a few days. Is it possible to take public transportation from Amsterdam to Bodegraven? Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

You can take a train from Amsterdam Centraal to Bodegraven . It looks like you'll have to make one train change on the way. The trip takes 52 min and costs 9.8 euro each way.

For more details click on this link , you can buy and print out your tickets here

ps usually you can only buy them at and under the 90 day mark

Real easy. Takes about an hour. 1 transfer. Buy your ticket at the station.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looking forward to my first trip to Amsterdam this summer. One more question. Is it a walkable distance from the train station to De Molen?

    Cheers

7 mins from the train station to de molen... 20 mins from de molen back to the train station, at least that's been my experience.

I did this trip a few years ago. My brother and I took the train to Haarlem for a bit of a walkabout, then on to Bodegraven. The town is really nice and quiet and the visit to De Molen was quite an experience. Make sure you have change for your ticket at the station when you're returning to Amsterdam. They don't accept notes.

    both?

Somehow it always seems to be my experience; the trip back to the train station at Borefts 2013 seemed to be impeded/ameliorated by walking back and opening bottles at the same time after 10hrs of drinking.
