This will be my first time going to this event. Can anyone shed some light on the line-up process? How much time to get there in advance? thanks!
It depends upon whether you want to be among the first to get in. The line moves pretty quickly and the event runs 3.5 hours so I didn't feel any great desire to wait in line more than about 20 minutes before the doors open. The weather in 2011 was pretty good and the forecast for Friday is not for excessive heat either so that can factor in - I wouldn't want to stand outside in line for an hour or more on a very hot/humid DC evening if I could help it.
I've read some things about the 'dress code'. It says something about being like business casual, at least thats the idea I got. Any first hand experience on what to wear? I just don't want to be the 'Cousin Eddy' showing up in flip flops and a Hawaiian shirt while everyone else is in a tux....
I was wondering about this also. i was lucky enough to get a ticket and I so want to show up wearing shorts and a tshrit
Most everyone was dressed nice biz casual. A few ties. Mostly alot of button down shirts and khakis. Polo shirts also.
I have an extra ticket for Fridays session. Looking to sell it for $100. Message me if anyone is interested.
