For starters I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this topic and if it has been talked about previously.

So has anyone from Pennsylvania heard or seen any details on this, such as what breweries will be there?

The only details that I have come across are price which has ranged from$40-$45 general admission and $55-$65 for VIP. Availability of tickets which is set at 1,000 and the date which is scheduled for August 23rd. I also saw that they are partnering with Brew Fest Partners so if anyone has any feedback on events that they have been a part of I would also like to hear about it. General feedback on price, what to expect at a first time beer event, etc are also appreciated.

    Thanks for the help.

Unless they add to the list, I'll probably pass.

Hi craft brew friends-- thank you for your interest in the Gettysburg Brew Fest. We also appreciate the discussion. I moved here from Milwaukee, where we have done a number of brew fests-- Great Lakes Brew Fest in Racine, WI and the Milwaukee Firkin...we are looking at doing a Gettysburg Firkin in 2015-- is that a good thing?

We are adding brews to our list every week-- I am going to be updating the site this weekend. We are bringing a few from Wisconsin out, so check back in a day or so.

Troegs is unveiling their new brew, Hop Knife at the Gettysburg Brew Fest-- for VIP guests. VIPs get in at 3:30, get to sample exclusive batch brews by Troegs, Roy Pitz, Appalachian Brewing and the Battlefield Brew Works...and you get a very cool German-made stein (being fired as we speak!)

Who do you want to see here?

    Prost!

I hope "a few from Wisconsin" translates to New Glarus. And its on tap, not two random bottles thrown in a Secret Stash cooler. Eh, Id like to go but Im going to need to see way more if you want $40-$45.

I wish I could drink more than 3 pints of beer a day without risking getting very ill. $45 for 3 beers just doesn't make sense for me.

We just added a number of breweries tonight-- putting us up over 30 breweries to date...with more being added shortly. Also, announced that we are down to the last 25 VIP tickets...get yours while you still can

    Prost!

Not sure about New Glarus but as someone who just moved here from Wisconsin and know the owners-- I would love to offer Spotted Cow, Totally Naked, Fat Squirrel or Two Women...all my faves!

If you are a "young professional" in the area, we do have a $5 off code next week only...

You should try to get Baldy Beard Brewing on board. Those guys are killing it right now.
