Warning! I've opened dozens of bottles that have gysered and spewed but never had I lost a complete and total bottle. Warning! Watch out when opening a Unity Vibration Bourbon Peach. (I won't comment on the taste. . . .I'll let you be surprised - or not).

Suffice it to say it spewed and geysered like my first child's projective vomiting! Usually, one would get at least a few inches of beer. Here, the bottle was dry! It shot out and geysered the entire bottle. The glass I could taste was from a "mid spew aim" into a glass; otherwise, all gone - period.

    Open this bottle with care!

I have a growler of bourbon peach beer I'm opening on Saturday, but it's from a brewery in Virginia. Hopefully better results.

Yes, all the folks who read this are sure to rush out and get a bottle that empties itself into the sink, and they can catch a sip or two of foam and be surprised.

People need to remember/realize this beer is first and foremost a kombucha, and a beer second. They CANNOT, under any circumstances, be unrefrigerated for any period of time or there will be some seriously violent refermentation that will happen, especially when it is bottled with fruit. Ask the store where you got it how it was stored, because under proper conditions this beer has normal levels of carbonation.

I had no such problem with it when I had a bottle earlier this summer. But then, I wasn't any better off having gotten to try it, because it was relatively bad.

Unity Vibration is the brewery listed on bottle and on this site. (I did get to taste it. My conclusion, my opinion only, was that it may have been more fun to watch "shoot from a bottle" than tasting it!.....oops! Did I say that out loud??).

Unity makes great stuff if you like Kombucha but do not mistake Kombucha for beer. GrindFatherBob offers some valuable advice, I will expand upon that a bit. Any "wild" beer has the possibility of gushing. Always refrigerate for 24 hrs before opening and be careful not to disturb the bottle too much. This will eliminate the majority of your gushing issues.

Yeah, I had layers of reaction to this beer. At first smell I was plesently surprised, but by the end of the first glass I started to get offended. Is this a beer? I guess technically, but I'm not in a hurry to try there other offerings.

I was under the impression kombucha needed to be cooled until consumption. I didn't send any out for that very reason (think it even says something to that effect on this bottle...)

Mine was shipped to me in the Blind Bif, and I had no carbonation issues. It was refrigerated for probably a week before I drank it though. Only seek it out if you like citric acid though.

THIS!!!! Kombucha ferments so fast, even in my fridge, I can only buy small amounts at a time before it becomes hazardous!
