It's end of the week ... anyone seen any around Fairfield County? I was in one place in Stamford yesterday and they did not have any.

Love that Matt weighed in last week. Maybe other people already knew this, but I didn't know distributors (and by proxy...brewers) couldn't direct sales where they wanted....at least in CT. You'd think a brewer would want to satisfy the more local accounts before expanding. Varying regulation on state-by-state basis is such an arbitrary thing.

I like that they are putting date stickers on it...always a good move.

Agreed. Not as good as actually dating the cans, but a nice upgrade.

I'm sitting on a case of Gandhi-Bot right now at my bar. It was canned the 7th. You guys best head on down to Ordinary in New Haven, because everyday I work I buy one at the end of my shift.

No word on when we'll get another case....:stuck_out_tongue:

Just picked up a 4-pack in Shelton yesterday. Last one though (or so they say:astonished:)
I happen to enjoy the scarcity of GB. Every store I go into I always ask before leaving where they hide the Gandhi. 9 times out of 10 they laugh me out of the store--but those times when they don't makes the hunt more fun!

I was able to pick up 2 Gandhi bot cans today inside of a 4 pack of Seahag in West Hartford today. Limit of 1 six pack. $16.50 out the door

2 GBOT inside a 4 pack of Hag ? Are you stating that you bought 4 Hags and 2 Bots for $16.50 ?
Your wording was slightly confusing...and if it in fact was those 6 beers, you were overcharged by $3-4.

Correct. 4 seahag and 2 Gandhi for 16$. They wouldn't let me buy another 6 pack

I did ask the last time I was in the store. They said they won't give cooler space to something that is out of stock so often. Apparently I must have missed a few out of stock situations along the way.

I really don't think it's NEBCo's fault, they are making and distributing more Gandhi-Bot than ever. It was available on draft all over Hartford, New Haven and Fairfield counties this past month. Liquor stores, well, they're doing that shitty thing mentioned up above (package deal with Hag) and they're reserving it for regular customers.

The hype - deserved for quality - is outrageous. Was at a bar the other night and two guys wanted "that Gandhi beer we've heard about." When the bartender said they didn't have it, they ordered Coors Light. Plenty of other good local and craft on tap, but no. They wanted the rarity.
