I received one as a Christmas Gift from a friend of mine, and to be honest with you, I'm quite scared to take on this endeavor.... Ghost Peppers in beer...? I'm not digging the sound of that. Has anyone had this?

I heard it's so hot, it literally burns your entire face when you sip it...

I tried with a couple friends. After one sip you're good. Not that hot but you get the gist of the flavor. Tastes like habanero peppers in water.

I tried this with a few friends and it was really hot. It's not very drinkable but the smell and taste are actually quite complex as you can smell and taste a lot of the different varieties of chili peppers.

Tried this back in the fall. Didn't care for it. It's a real burner. I like spicey foods and all but this was just pain and punishment.

I imagine if your a chilliehead it'd be a different story. If you're not, find some adventurous friends to share it with.

I haven't had this one, but we tried to drink Stone's Crime at a tasting 2 weeks ago, and it was not enjoyed by any of the ten that tried it. From their own description, it has "red and green jalapeño, Fatali, Caribbean Red Hot, habanero, Ghost, Black Naga, Super, Moruga Scorpion, 7 Pot, Aji Amarillo, Scorpion, Giant White Habanero, 7 Pot Douglah and Douglah peppers."

Just saying. I wouldn't try another hot pepper beer, which is a shame, because Westbrook's Mexican Cake has Habaneros in it too, and was phenomenal.

Here's the "double dog dare you" image from Stone….

Had a sip, burned like hell and couldn't get the taste out of the back of my throat for the life of me. Whatever you do, make it the last beer of the night.

I have had a couple. Be sure to share it because a whole bottle is really not very enjoyable. We split it three ways. I had a good flavor for the first couple of sips, then it was basically just hot chillies. I like spicy foods, so I didn't mind it. Its basically a novelty beer.

If you have 5 other friends, everyone should just have a couple of ounces and call it a day.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Beneath the complex layering of peppers, the base beer is pretty darn solid.

I haven't had this one, but Conquest here in Columbia brewed a batch with ghost peppers in it and it was beyond miserable... and I'm someone who absolutely loves spicy beers! I had a 32 oz growler and I think I poured 31 oz down the drain!

I saw a guy on you tube chugging 5-6 bottles in something like 7-8 minutes, he was dying at the end.

After about 2 sips it lacked any flavors other than "holy sh!t, this is hot". I do wanna get another bottle to make chili.

It's a novelty beer. Something you would buy at Spencer's Gifts in the mall if they were able to sell beer.

It's fun to drink a bit with some friends, but it's not a beer worth drinking outside of the first experience. I have heard of some people buying it by the case though, so I could be wrong.

It literally tastes like someone put a sliced habanero in the bottom of a miller light for two weeks.

I just had Crime last night, liked it better than Ghost Face, wouldn't buy either again. I plan on letting Punishment age a least another unless I am just feeling masochistic. Both beers would be a great base for some insane chilli or bear-reppellant, but not why I buy beer.
