Can anyone give me some details on this beer including how often and where it is release, can one get growler fills/bottles, and how awesome it is? I have been considering trading for it if possible.

    Cheers!

It's quite awesome, and it was made 1 time only. It's very infrequently tapped and never growler filled. What few bottles are out there trade quite high. Good luck!

It's pretty unclear to me why this beer hasn't been "retired" yet. Made once, two years ago. Yeah, it seems like every few months a keg shows up somewhere in Chicago, but they aren't making new batches.

Last year in July, I traded BCBVS for two 12 oz unmarked bottles of Baudoinia. He ended up throwing in a 3rd Baudoinia as an extra. I would do that trade again in a heart beat! Baudoinia is the best version of BCBS!

Agreed, it was definitely the best and most complex BCBS variant they've released. I'm actually surprised they haven't made it Proprietors yet.

As I'm sure you're aware, GI never bottled any Baudoinia in 12oz bottles. It means someone hand filled them from a keg. Not saying thats necessarily a bad thing. I just don't want anyone thinking there are GI 12oz Baudoinia bottles floating around out there.

I have some Baudoinia, but would feel indifferent about trading it. What if the bottle/growler fill didn't turn out well?!?! Granted, the one's i've opened have worked great (just a little less carbonated, However... this beer obviously doesn't require alot of carbonation).

It is however a great beer... good luck OP...
