ironic that the best event in portland was at Produce Row. Man......so much King Henry and 2009 Vanilla was drank that night. glorious

Indeed - odd to make a big deal about it and then drop the ball. Portland seemed very well organized and plans were laid out in advance.

Yeah, for "official" Migration Week events there is a real lack of any kind of information.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we just got in a BCS keg here at Malt and Vine in Redmond, WA. We will be tapping it Friday at 1, and will have a brewer in house as well!

I somehow ended up with a 2xl migration shirt. If anyone has a xl or L I am willing to swap.

I talked to the Goose reps about this at Brouwers, and they said they were frustrated themselves with how little info they could publish about the locations they would be at during their travels due to varying state alcohol laws. I'm not sure what Washington's laws are in this regard, but this could explain why some cities on the migration website had the schedules up ahead of time and some did not.

They also said their plans for some sort of NFL related event today got screwed up, but didn't elaborate. So they are just visiting breweries today, and will resume the public tour tomorrow at Malt & Vine.

Did anyone ask the GI reps if Elizabeth Station was receiving 100% of the WA BCBS allocation this year?:angry:

    $12 for a 12oz pour at M&V. Funny how I don't balk at this, it's that good.

The label on their board is a bit misleading. It has a picture of the black label (regular BCBS) and says Bourbon County Stout on the main line. The sub line informs you that it is coffee. And it was $10 a pour when I was there.

They also poured samples of King Henry and some of the sours.

First that and now this lame effort for their Migration Week. It's pretty obvious GI hates Seattle.
