GI Fleur Value?

    i had a 2010 22oz a few months ago and it was steller! i didnt know it was retired tho.
    reminded me of an oude buin in flavor.

    5.99 a bomber, id go back and buy up more!

    Woops I flipped them. The tartness thing was correct though. The 2011 are tart off the bat.

    I think the Fleur was replaced in the "vintage" ales line up by Marisol (the collaboration beer with Rick Bayless). In addition they are brewing a crap ton more Matilda and Fleur never really moved off shelves. Most people preferred either Sofie or Matilda I guess.

    They made an announcement about this a while back. The official reason was that they "weren't happy with the recipe" on Fleur, which I'm guessing means lows sales. They left the possibility open for it to come back after tweaking the recipe, but it's not like anyone is holding their breath on it.
