So I was at the library today and I figured I'd stop in the beer place I saw across the street which seemed like a regular shitty run down beer place, but it ended up having a bunch of craft beer. However, I soon found out how old all of these beers were (which was expected) when I saw last years celebration ale on the shelves next to 2011 summer beers. However, I did find three bottles of Goose Island's 2010 Fleur, which I've never seen before. I know it's retired now, and I'm curious about it. Is it worth getting? It's probably light struck to hell because it was on the top shelf probably since it got there a couple years ago, but it might still be worth it. It didn't have a price and I didn't ask because someone who worked there was being a douche canoe and said something to me that pissed me off so I just left, but I figured I'd go back and pick it up if it's worth it.

Who's had this? Is it worth picking up?

I've had it, good, not amazing. Don't pay more than $14 as its still available on shelves thought a few shops in Chicago

I really liked/like Fleur, and it'll only get better w/age (due to the Brett/other wild yeasts used for fermenting the Kombucha tea they use in it). I've still got a couple of 22oz 2010s and 2011's left in my cellar. They originally retailed for $7-9 bucks, so if they're in that price range and you like Bretty (but not sour) beers, give it a go!

I'm a huge fan of Fleur, and it's drinking really nice right now. I tapped a 6th of it about 2 months ago and it was drinking wonderfully, and I have a good stash of bottles I have been drinking regularly... not sour by any means, but a really nice funk and tartness to it.

Fleur with age is magical. Id get one to see if its tasting good and then buy the rest when you find out how magical it is!
