How is this still drinking and how hard to get is this at this point as far as trading? Looking to get a bottle perhaps but not sure what sort of offer to make. Thanks for the feedback.
It was a really nice beers but this thing is six years old. It was noticeably too old a couple years back.
I swear I saw one of these for sale at Lush on Roscoe (in Chicago) a few months ago for around $60. If this has seriously declined I feel bad for the buyer.
What is this suppose to mean? I have really been wanting to try this beer as well for a long time, just never really went after it. Hate to hear that its heading south...
i'm bringing this thread back. is the Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Brown Goose in bottles the same as Imperial Brown Goose that you guys said has fallen off? basically, is there a BA and a Non-BA version?
A coworker and I were at the American Craft Beer Fest last year where we were able to taste Imperial Brown Goose. According to the guys doing the pours, Goose Island found a hitherto forgotten barrel of the stuff hidden in the back of wherever they keep their barrels. Meaning it had aged for a total of 6 years in the barrel. It was *$&ing good EDIT: messed up the brewery. Thanks to eyeenjoybeer for catching that
