I would agree that it does have its advantages. Here on the Ontario side we have seen GI Matilda, Sofie, Pepe Nero and Pere Jacques in the LCBO recently. The prices have been fair as well compared to what I have seen in NY.
The difference here is that it's not for sale in the SAQ but in the regular distribution channel (albeit only IGA but they are everywhere).
There isn't much of a choice in ON...it's Beer Store (hahahahaha) or LCBO. I'm just really happy to see their product making its way north.
More details. Sofie as well and it's an exclusive between IGA and Inbev. They are testing to see the market's response. Maybe BCBS next year?
