Ha! I get it...ice..because hockey! I already shared my prop'14, I guess I will need to find some other nectar to celebrate a hawk victory.

Stopped at Hollingshead tonight and spoke with Mike. There are NO TO GO bottles next Wednesday. They are doing some bottle pours only. They have a couple of vintage sours (from 2012 and 2010 I think) and some BCBCS from 2014 and a few more bottles coming in.

They will NOT be tapping the keg of vanilla rye they currently have in the back.

On a side note, the place looks awesome now they have expanded. Its much cleaner now.

Also, has anyone been to Pie Dog before? How big is this place? The food any good?

 

Not that big. 8-10 long tables, 10 stool bar. The food, never had. Nice place, tho.

They'll be closing at 5 today and reopening at 6 for the tap takeover

 

Wish they'd just stay open, I was planning on getting there at 5, sitting at the bar and getting some food to hold a spot.

I'll be wearing all black with a weird nosferatu-ish shirt and chucks if anyone wants to come say hi!

 

Already closed down for 40 minutes and handed out 50(one ticket of each vanilla rye and prop) to the first 25 people here. If you come right now you'll be standing outside til 5:30 at least in line to get the seconds. All baby kegs of the good stuff.

 

And at 5:50 they opened up the side door letting friends in, which just screwed over the line out front

 

I don't have all night to stand in line and watch friends get in through the side door or cut in line outside. Pretty disappointed so far. Just want my two drinks so I can leave.

 

All of us in line apparently don't know the right people. Line has hardly moved because of all the people already inside before they opened.
