GI Rare, going for ?

    Dd srs. Was part of the blind tasting DoctorRock noted above, & the consensus (3/4 of the group if I recall correctly) picked the Rare blind. It was sublime. I've had had it a few times, including fresh, the last time around December. I didn't have the same reaction of writhing ecstasy to that bottle, so I'm chalking it up to good storage conditions.

    On this issue you are wrong .... Carry on. :slight_smile: I do kind of agree the barrel has faded slightly which I seem to prefer. Also, your calculations are incorrect. It is better than 99.12% of all BA stouts.

    Loved that beer, but definitely not as good as Rare IMHO. I've never trusted your "fuzzy math" either. Or was that your fuzzy robe I don't trust? Now I'm confused.
