If you had your choice between these four sisters: Halia, Lolita, Juliet & Gillian which two would you choose?

if it was my mouth's decision: gillian; wallet's decision: juliet.

edit, thought you wanted 1 choice. go gillian and juliet.

i did, it was tasty, don't get me wrong; but i have a soft side for juliet. everyone's fruit preference is different, and I'd probably start there in your decision. Except for gillian, you get that no matter your fruit preference.

Juliet is damn delicious, and would say it's probably my favorite (haven't had Gillian yet), but Halia was delicious and comparable to Peche n' Brett in my opinion.

Actually I drank all four on Sunday. I thought it would be Juliet, but my surprise winner was Halia. I really liked how the peaches worked and it was more tart than I was expecting (same with Gillian), as those 2 are labeled "Farmhouse Ale" as opposed to "Wild Ale". My wallet hates me currently as I caved and picked up another one yesterday.

I got some Gillian in at my restaurant and cracked one open last night, you know, for research, and it was amazing. I was skeptical, but I think it's actually worth the money.

I'd say the same about all of them this year though. I don't know what happened, but all the sisters have upped their game. The sour flavors are awesome, and they don't carry any of that diacetal buttery finish that they all seemed to have in past years.
