I have an old dear friend that I visit every year or two. He and his wife put me up and treat me great.
I usually bring along some nice beer.

During my visit this winter we drank the Firestone Walker 17 I had to the bottom of the bottle.

After dinner I broke out the BCBS Cherry I'd brought. He's in his 60s and had worked a full day. He liked the beer but nodded off with about six ounces in the glass, and in the morning it went down the drain.

    So it goes.

Sounds like grounds for a three-way.

I am not getting why you poured it down the drain. Because it was warm? I've finished great IPAs at room temperature 3 hours after falling asleep in my chair, shoot 6 hours after falling asleep in my chair...

I mean did you suspect she had cooties or something? Wait for the bitch to go home, and drink that thing...

Sharing beer means acknowledging that some recipients might not like it. She wasn't obligated to love it just because it's hard to acquire or one of your personal favorites. If it is a favorite, though, you are totally justified in drinking the leftovers rather than drainpouring; 2 hour old favorite beer is still a good beer.. :-)
