Does anyone know what happened to Gigantic's numbering system?

#18 is the Firebird smoked hefe
#21 is the Volta spiced saison

When I google this, I can't see anything online about #19 or #20. There is one photo of a bottle of Massive showing #19, but Massive with a different label was #9 - is this a 2014 release? I've also had a bottle of Ginormous, but the photos online show that as also being #18.

Has anyone seen bottles with #19 and #20 on them that can confirm the names?

I usually pick up at least one of every release - I'm a sucker for that type of marketing.

They release two at a time - usually. The one you are missing is their new IPL.

    so it goes:

#18 is the Firebird smoked hefe
    #19 is Ginormous
#20 is IPL (i wish i could think of the name - it has a picture of a frog on the front)
#21 is the Volta spiced Saison

Sidenote, I was not a fan of Volta.

My guess is the picture you saw where ginormous was #18 was a draft - not on the actual bottle. - they might have not switched out the numbers yet - since I think the number placement and style font is consistent across all the labels.

Also, has gigantic always had home brew recipes on their website?

Edit: Just found a picture of the IPL - it has it as #22! Now I have no idea what #20 is.

Yeah, I saw the photo for the IPL with #22 on it, and figured that it must have just come out. I'm also a sucker for marketing like this, which is why it's tweaking my OCD that I don't know which ones I have missed. I guess a visit to Belmont Station is in order, as I don't see many north of the Columbia River these days

Could they have skipped a number due to a collaboration bottle? Is #20 a barrel aged beer that hasnt come out yet and they number their beers based on brew date and not release date? Did they skip #20 because it is bad luck? These are all questions that need answers.

Or this just needs a third person to tell us that we missed number #20, and it was a Rye IPA and it was the best thing they have ever made - this seems most likely.

Someone asked on their facebook about Ginormous being #18 and Gigantic responded that it was a misprint and should be #88, so who knows.
