Hey guys, I am from out of town, and am visiting family here in Gilbert. I was wondering if there were any bottle shops in or around Gilbert that you guys would recommend for a good selection? I've been to the Total Wine in Santan village, wasn't too impressed with the selection. Anywhere you guys recommend? Thanks in Advance! Nas4atu
Just go to Arizona Wilderness an fill growlers. They have awesom food too. Otherwise... sun devil liquor store and Topps aren't too far
Gilbert Convenience Mart (GCM Liquor) is a good spot near downtown Gilbert. About a mile south of that is a Shell station (Quick n Shine) that has a surprisingly strong selection that you can find some gems in.
Agree with the GCM and Quick n Shine suggestions. Quick n Shine has a ridiculous selection of craft beer - only problem is the disorganization. The Desert Rose Express at McQueen/Elliot is also worth a stop...smaller selection, but always some good stuff, and they seem like good folks.
If you're out by Santan Village the WoB there will usually fill a growler of anything they have on tap. I've seen them fill a 32oz of BCBS.
Just got back from a trip to AZ. GCM is most definitely legit. I had to sneak out the night before we flew back, so I didn't have a chance to check out any other places, but those guys were super nice and I was able to load up on local stuff, along with some things that don't make it to MI.
