Ginger and Beer

    I don't think it gets distributed outside of Chicago, but Forbidden Root Sublime Ginger is a good one.

    I had no idea Porkslap had ginger in it otherwise i might have been more interested in trying it. Havent been there in a long time (year or so) but a store in Scotch Plains used to ALWAYS have it. I am also not a pumpkin beer fan but love ginger in other things, so I wish I was more enlightened while this stuff was still available.

    The Foley Brothers Ginger beer is good. My wife is a ginger ale connoisseur and she liked it (especially for having real ginger and not fake flavors).

    Logboat Brewing in Columbia, MO makes a great ginger wheat beer called Shiphead.

    Other than that I haven't seen too many of those around.
