How long has Gino's been brewing? Never mind -- dug it up on me own: "Gino's Brewing Co. opened in February 2015..."
That was the first thing I thought of. I can't seem to find a list of all the entrants, but I'd be curious to see who else from IL (if anyone) entered.
It's really just a marketing thing anyway, and I'm sure there are logistical costs, not to mention financial costs. But I wonder which, and how many, other Illinois brewers entered. I read that Gino's got 4 awards last year. That seems like good publicity to push people through the pizza place doors. Heck, it might even get me to go.
