Give OP option to allow/not allow replies when creating a post?

    This is just a thought that may be especially useful in the trade forums. This way if someone doesn't want replies they can simply choose not to allow them when they create the thread.

    To me it seems like it would be most useful for people trying to scam others OR people going whaling where comments don't matter too much. I like replies.

    That guy with Kate who wanted Rare straight up had to know....

    I think it's working well the way it is right now. Maybe we should leave it and see how it plays out. So far so good!

    Yeah I agree. I should've clarified that my post was directly a response to "This way if someone doesn't want replies they can simply choose not to allow them when they create the thread."

    This feature is not supported by the software. I also think this goes against what we're trying to create: a healthy discussion; even with ISO:FT posts. This has also been covered, more or less, in other threads discussing ISO:FT being post only.
