Sorry if its old news but just found out Great Lakes and Deschutes are collaborating on a new porter. This is one I am definitely looking forward to. Love eddy fitz have heard nothing but good about deschutes just havent been able to get a hold of any.
Deschuttes Black Butte Porter is very good... hopefully this will be available anywhere Deschuttes is available..as I can't get Great Lakes...
Sounds cool. Great Lakes rarely does collabos, for whatever reason. Where did you hear this? Any links? Can't find anything on it..

I have had the privilege of having both and they are both delicious. Can't wait for this new porter! Hopefully it will be available where Great Lakes is sold.
Great news. Great Lakes was my favorite brewery when I was in Ohio and Deschutes is my favorite brewery now that I live in Oregon. I would love to be able to get a Great Lakes-Deschutes collaboration beer out here.
They both know their porters, BB and Eddy Fitz are top tier. I can only imagine that what they come up with together will be superb. And the hype train is rolling down the tracks.
Leave my Eddy Fitz alone. If absolutely necessary, GLBC can tinker with their porter and make the even better Alberta Clippper (raspberry Belgian dark chocolate). that is all.
Love Edmund Fitz....haven't been able to try any Deschutes but I have someone supposedly sending me some Abyss and I'm pumped about it.
