So, I know Conways is the January release, does anyone have a more definate date about when it will be released??! Does anyone care? I loved it last year and hoping my palate likes it this year
It usually pops up towards the middle/end of January, so probably in the next couple weeks. I'm a big fan of Conway's and look forward to it every year. It's definitely one of Great Lakes' more underrated/underappreciated beers.
Supposedly popping up in Chicago this week, too. Conway's and Oktoberfest bookend the winter so well...
Just got an e-mail from Blacklick Wine and Spirits saying it's in, so I assume it's all over Columbus now.
This distribution confuses me. Cleveland and Akron don't have it but Youngstown does according to their website "beer finder".
It's weird and unfortunately happens like that sometimes. You would think it would hit shelves in Cleveland before anywhere else, but that's unfortunately not always the case. For example, I remember the first year Lake Erie Monster came in 4pks, it hit Cleveland shelves 2 weeks after everyone else in and out of state got it. I talked to the guy at Warehouse Beverage today, and he said he hasn't even ordered it yet and plans on doing it today/tomorrow and plans on receiving it possibly next Monday..
Good to know! I really like Warehouse Beverage. I finally just called up the brewery and the girl I talked to said the gift shop will have 6 packs after 5 PM today, and they will be the first place "in Cleveland".
Nice. Yeah I figured it would be available at the giftshop. I love Conway's, but not enough to drive downtown for it, unless I was already down there. Before you know it, we'll be swimming in it..
