I was hoping to start a thread related to all things gluten free beer. I know there are plenty of people who know that gluten doesn't sit very well with them even if they don't admit it. Here is a place to share all your favorite gluten free beers out there! I am from San Diego so I am lucky enough to have both Duck Foot and Booze Brothers close by with amazing GF options. This can be a place to reference both fully GF and gluten reduced beers. For anyone in the Non-Alcoholic space, Athletic brewing also makes a solid gluten reduced golden ale.

mooch25, thanks for starting this. About two years ago, I found myself going GF for medical/health reasons, and though it definitely got me to a better place, losing malts was devastating. I wish I had more GF-free craft brews to talk up here; it seems that gluten-reduced is more likely to hold down expectations when drinking "beer." Still, my highest-rated GF/reduced is Stone Delicious, followed closely by Steadfast IPA and Pumpkin Ale, New Planet Seclusion IPA, Ghostfish Grapefruit IPA, and a mixture of Glutenbergs--I have come to appreciate them in all their maltlessness.

I would love to hear about other GF beers as well, especially ones available in the NJ/NY/PA area. A conscious effort has been made by many brewers to brew beers of this nature, and I am sure more good ones are to come.

New Belgium makes a beer called Gluteny. My wife is gluten intolerant and she likes this one. It's hit or miss in Ohio.

Ghostfish Brewing in Seattle is 100% GF. Both in their beers, and in-house food menu. Not sure how far their distro reaches (probably I-5 corridor, from the border to PDX?), but their brews are solid. Had a draft porter at the brewery that was great.

My son lives in Seattle and agree Ghostfish is a great spot for GF beers and food. Ghostfish actually has a wide distribution footprint too as I know we get them in NY and NJ. GroundBreaker in PDX is similar and is totally GF on all their beers and food.
Departed Soles in Jersey City NJ does a lot of GF beers and they distribute so @dacrza1 should be on the lookout for them. Green's like Gutenberg's beers are reliable and easy to find but I wouldn't put them up there with the best GF beers.
Daura makes some good GF reduced beers but not recommended if you have Celiac.

I was hoping to find that out here, but I m not sure Gluteny is currently in NB's rotation at the moment.

Thankfully, distribution reaches New Jersey--Bottle King has been great supplying different offerings.

KingforaDay, great list. I have had Departed Souls' Rick Rolled Stout. My sons loved the name a lot more than I liked the beer. Agreed on Green's--their triple seemed a bit of a mess. I find Glutenberg's at least put a really good White (NOT the Blonde, though) and serviceable ales. Daura's Damm is a pilsner approximation worth drinking in larger quantities.
