I want to brew a gluten free beer and need a starting point for a recipe. Any ideas? I will end up tweaking it in the end. there has to be something better than the commercial crap out there.

Most recipes I've seen begin with Sorghum syrup - and that's the problem IMO. It doesn't lend a very "beery" character.

Hit up Widmer and see if you can't find out their new process and replicate at home. They use malt and process it somehow, it's actually really decent. The Pale is really, really drinkable.
