GMAT LIF

Haha thanks guys! I took another practice GMAT on Wednesday afternoon (four hours of my life I will never get back) and managed to improve another 20 points. Things are looking pretty good, but honestly I'm just ready for it to be finished.

Still another week to guess for anyone stopping by!

 

Well here we are in the closing stretch. My university classes are basically wrapped up, so I have really been hitting the GMAT studying hard these last few days. It looks like it's paying off too! I just finished my last practice test (and the only official one I've taken from the GMAT's website -- the rest have been through my class). I'm very pleased to report that I gained 40 points over my score from last week's practice test and 90 points from the first practice test I took a few months ago before I started studying. Now all I need to do is repeat that score on Saturday and I'll be ecstatic! Thanks for everyone's support along the way.

It's a couple hours early, but I'm going to wrap this one up. Thanks again to everyone for guessing.

I'm taking the test tomorrow at 3:00, so I should be finished by 8:00 or so. Hopefully by 8:30 I'll be drinking a victory beer, and I will post the results. If you're curious, my last practice test was a 760, 90% Quant, 96% Verbal. Most of the schools at the top of my list have average scores in the 720 - 730 range, so I would be very happy if I was anywhere around that tomorrow.

At this point, I have put in so much work (over 1,200 practice problems in the last month!) that I'm just going to stop worrying and believe in my preparations. Here's a good luck beer:
