What is everyones go-to for a lower-priced 6 pack? (~ dollar a beer price point)?

Basically Sierra Nevada's whole lineup that's in a six pack. Imperial Java Stout from Santa Fe Brewing, Marble Brewery Pils locally.

I believe there is a similar thread because my answer seems to ring a bell.

Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. Year round for $8-9

If I'm forced to go under $8, I go for anything that Saranac puts out; typically Legacy IPA @$7.49 ($1.25/Beer). Otherwise, my bargain go-to's are usually anything Sierra Nevada (especially Torpedo or Celebration), @ $8.49 ($1.42/beer) or Long Trail (Limbo or Double Bag) at the same price point

People in NYC effectively banned from posting in this thread.

Lagunitas is mine for "in the neighborhood of $8" but usually closer to 9 or 10 otd.

There's nothing for under $8 here in the Chicago area aside from MAYBE some Leinenkugels and the usual Coors/Miller. If we're going under $10 I'm buying Revolution Anti-Hero which is my go to 6'er.

See the above comment about NYC. Could apply to CT also, I suppose. Probably the case in most big cities west of the Rockies.

Deschutes Black Butte and Obsidian for dark stuff. Stone IPA, Racer 5, Torpedo, Sam Adams Double Agent IPL, Lagunitas IPA for hoppy stuff.

Unless you're buying high abv., barrel aged, or sour, there's no reason to break $9 a six pack and no reason to ever buy bombers anymore.

Lagunitas new dogtown pale ale. It's my go to regardless of price but the fact that it's $7.99 a sixer makes all that much better.

I would also include torpedo but I tend to buy that by the 12 pack.

I'm near Los Angeles and I can find several options under $8. Do you guys not have Total Wine & More? Best prices I have ever seen on beer.

I don't usually buy six packs, but when I do, I prefer Sucks.

this! The story of CT. About the cheapest (drinkable?) 6pack I've seen lately was 8.99. Thankfully, it was Sea Hag

Don't remember the last time I bought a 6 pack that was even under $10 here at home. But did get some 6 packs of fresh jai alai for $9.99 when I was in Florida for thanksgiving
