    Konig for me.

If I can't find Konig, I'll look for Bitburger, Real Ale Hans' Pils or Live Oak Pilz.

I am in New Braunfels (at Wurstfest at the moment drinking Paulaner Oktoberfest) and I hope to buy a sixpack of Live Oak Pilz tomorrow at HEB.

    Prost!

I would think everybody has to tend toward what is regional as far as IPAs are concerned. If I could get 12 packs of Grolsch still that would always be in my house as far as just a regular drinking beer. Right now it is Sierra Nevada products.. more specifically Atomic Torpedo.

Seems like Bodhizafa has become my go-to. It's sufficiently widespread on tap in my region that I'm thinking that's it's become safe to say it's replaced it's stablemate Manny's as the Georgetown flagship beer.

There are two beers I always have in my fridge, year round:

    Miller Lite
    Tupps IPA (a local favorite)

I grew up on SNPA and it was always in my fridge when I lived in California. But since I’ve moved to Texas, I just don’t drink it much anymore (borderline sacrilegious for me). Has nothing to do with taste or preference, it just isn’t as readily available. Often when I find it, it’s in bottles, and I’m team cans.

Plenty of Hazy Little Thing in tall boys though. Rolls eyes, ends rant.

During this time of year it’s the Festbiers. Other than that easy drinking beers for me are Saint Arnold’s Fancy Lawnmower and Seventh Tap’s Kajun Kolsch.

I’m with you on the stouts! But I stick to Lagers. Yuengling and Wolverine State are my 2.

There are a few beers that I tend to have in my fridge at all times.

    Olde Mecklenburg Copper (Altbier)
    Sycamore Mountain Candy (IPA)
    Birdsong Jalapeno Pale Ale (APA)

Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold. Smooth, great balance, not over the top expensive.

Maybe Fat Heads will distribute in CT someday soon. I know they recently started distributing in Florida.

    Cheers!

Fat Heads Headhunter and Troegs Perpetual IPA. If I'm looking for a little less abv then Lagunitas IPA or SN Pale Ale. Lately I'v been buying these in stovepipe cans, great for college football Saturdays and NFL Sundays.

Heady Topper, Pilsner Urquell. Sip of Sunshine rotates in as well but I think it's been kind of neutered.

Founders Centennial IPA for me. I seem to quaff more of this than anything else. $17.99 / 15 pack is pretty good.

I love Wurstfest, though it has been a while sine I last went. I was there for the 50th Anniversary and got the stein. I use to stay at the Faust Hotel, which is a cool old hotel, and could walk to a good German restaurant. Don't know if either are open now ugh.

I walked by Faust Hotel earlier today and they are totally gutting it as part of a rehab. It is scheduled to reopen next year (2025).

Maybe you should visit Wurstfest next year and stay at the new and improved Faust Hotel?

    Cheers’
