With football season finally here, What is your favorite go to beer for game day? I love jam session from Noda in Charlotte but when I don't have that I can always rely on dales pale ale.

    As a K-State football fan I do 2 things:

    1. Drink at least one Tallgrass beer (it's brewed in Manhattan, KS - where K-State is located)
    2. No beers from the state of K-State's opponent. So yesterday I avoided Texas beers.

All Day IPA for the noon games, then move to Hop, Drop, and Roll or Scotty Karates for night games

American football, > 4.2% ABV. World Futbol, < 4.2% ABV. Hooligans need to drink hoppy and higher ABV beers. More sleep is the goooooooooaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllll!

I've only recently tried these three and wish I had a lot sooner. Flying Dog Easy IPA, Lagunitas Day Time and Stone Go To IPA. Can't believe I wasted so many years drinking corona and c minus.

Good call on the Field 41 (Bale Breaker Brewing), Bale Breaker doesn't have a big lineup, but they work magic with hops...and they should; them hops are coming right out of their back yard!

Also, they like to call Field 41 a pale ale, but at 4.5% ABV and hoppy as hell, that's "Session IPA" territory, and they do it right.

Also, my game day brew just happens to be whatever is stocked at the moment.

Last fall I recall enjoying some Carton Boat cans and Sixpoint Autumnation and The Crisp early in the season. I tend to want lower ABV beers on Sundays, especially if I have a few during the early game. I do realize that Sixpoint Autumnation is not technically low ABV, but hey, it's not a barrel aged imperial stout either, so...

Edit: since football season prettying much goes from late summer into the bitter heart of winter, my beer choices tend to reflect the seasonal offerings as much as any beer of habit. By playoff time I'm drinking imperial stouts and barley wines, especially on playoff Saturdays.
